Melissa and Josh decided to tie the knot in beautiful Aspen, Colorado at the iconic Little Nell. They love to explore outdoors and are particularly fond of off-the-beaten path adventures. For their invitations, they wanted guests to feel that they were in the mountains. We started with a custom die-cut folio in a beautiful dusty blue that mirrored the topographic map of Aspen to house the suite. Each invitation piece was utilized letterpress and a blind deboss to create the details of the topography of Aspen. The blind deboss details are subtle and understated, yet elevated and intentional. We painted a watercolor mountain scene for the envelope liner and tied in color-matching mountain-themed vintage postage for the outer envelope. The couple’s dog even had a cameo on the adventure guide for the weekend! We carried the subtle mountain details throughout the day of paper goods as well.
